Welcome to Pakistan Academy For Rural Development

Campus 
The PARD training complex is spread over 50 acres. The elegant building of PARD contains Auditorium,  seven classrooms, Library, Two Computer Labs, Information Resource Center, Conference Room, Two Faculty Lounge, Cafeteria, hostels, guest-houses, employees’ residences, gymnasium, tennis, squash and badminton courts, exquisite lush green lawns and on open air theater. The Academy town is considered to be a unique government enclave in Peshawar for  its environment and internal  arrangements.Jogging track facility can be availed with proper permission. Class Rooms
The PARD classrooms are equipped with all the available modern teaching aids i.e., Touch Screen LEDs, Computer Systems, Internet Connectivity, Adequate cooling and heating systems. For conferences and seminars, a well-equipped Auditorium is also part of the facilities available on the campus.

 Information Technology (IT) Center
In the modern era, computer has emerged as an effective tool for information processing and decision-making. It has facilitated the management function considerably. Keeping in view the ever-waxing significance, a Computer Center has been set up in this institution. The Center looks after the computer training needs of the participants, which is an essential component the syllabus for the courses.

 High-Tech Skill Centre
PARD being one of the premier institutions of Pakistan works for the betterment of the community by providing free training opportunities to youth. Keeping in view the focus of the Federal Government, PARD initiated a skill-based training project in 2021 in collaboration with NAVTTC in IT and E-commerce Sector. A High Tech Skills Centre (HTSC) was established in 2021 at the campus. The Centre caters to the needs of skill-based training for unemployed youth in collaboration with NAVTTC, Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, Islamabad. The centre has a capacity of 30 students. There is a state of the art computer lab

Hostels and Guest Houses 
The Academy has two guest Houses and two hostels. Both single & double occupancy rooms are available for trainees. The hostel rooms are modestly furnished but equipped with all basic necessities of comfort. A mosque is also located within walking distance from the hostel.

Mess
A well managed  and spacious cafeteria is also located between class rooms & hostels where the efficient staff is always ready to serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and tea in stipulated timings.

Dispensary
A dispensary is also located on campus with in the walking distance from hostel and classroom. A qualified Medical Officer and para medical staff attends to the needs of the staff members and participants .

Transport
The Academy have vehicles. This facility extends to the the participants at their arrival and departure. However, for private use, limited transport facilities are also available on payment for participants within the municipal limits of Peshawar.

Water Filtration Plants
Water is life and provision of clean water to society is essential for healthy minds and body. Two filtration plants have been installed at the campus to provide clean drinking water to residents and participants. One plant is installed near Mess to facilitate participants and offices. second plant is near residential area.

Women Vocational Training Center
In 1966 the Academy launched a pilot project namely "Women Industrial Center" for upgrading skills of rural women. Now it is renamed as Women Vocational Training Center affiliated with skill development council of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Presently two lady teachers are engaged in training the village women-folk in different trades like sewing, cutting, embroidery, stitching etc.

Day Care Center
Baby day care center facility is also available for lady participants.

Post Office, Bank and Utility Store
A branch of the United Bank Limited., operates on campus for the convenience of staff and the participants. Similarly  Post Office and Utility Store facilities are also available on the campus.
